Such a sad situation, Bev. Many adults need custodial care, and it sounds like the cousin was one of them. Let your sister help you with your Mom. Take care of your hubby and yourself right now. Thinking of you.

LOL, QNS... sewing was supposed to keep us from snacking! Whenever I bring snacks to the machine, I end up doing more eating than sewing.

Bev so sorry for all the sickness, and things going on. You all are in my prayers.
QNS that is one yummy looking way to sew. lol...Love the picture.

Update on Jessica: She is not only off the respirator, but was on the c-pap and now off of it too. Doctor says there is no sign of any infection now in her lungs. She has woke up a few times. The first time asking where she is, and what's going on. Her mom told her about her there due to the pneumonia, and she was taken by life star due to avoiding the traffic. That calmed her down. She still goes back to sleep after a bit due to being so weak, and resting. Still hooked up to all the usual things until she can eat on her own etc. They also have the chest tube to take out soon. They said they hope next week to get her in a regular room, and then when she can get her in a wheel chair to show her off around the hospital. I thought that was so sweet. Thanks for all of your prayers.

OH June Billie! I am so pleased to hear about Jessica.
DH is feeling well today! Sigh of relief!
I want to thank all of ya'll for your support & prayers!
DCousin is on her way & we are gonna sew. I told her that she can use my Featherweight so she won't have to bring one of her sewing machines. She has 2 really big machines.

I am thrilled that she is better. Her dad came home to do a bit around the house today, and he told us he got to hear her in a phone call and that her voice was in a whisper due to everything, but he was elated. Her first of something by mouth is some good cold ice. lol.... Well maybe even jello by now.

I am glad your hubby feels better, and the two of you will be sewing together. Glad to hear more good news.

I decided I needed another gown, so I haven't sewn any clothes in a long time, but decided too being so happy and I already have the main part of the gown sewn together. I tried it on so it fits ok, but just need to hem, sew edgings on arms and around neck, and add a trimming or two, but it won't be anything fancy, but it was nice.

Ok, now off to check out some of your (Sewbizgirl) latest blocks. You are indeed catching up, and I am all over the place.

I have a nice little stack of these blocks growing. All those quilts for mice!

Love to hear the good news in everybody's family situations. Hope you all enjoy this Memorial Day and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

The sun is shinning bright here, looks to be a wonderful day. May all of you have a great day today and tomorrow... enjyou family and freiends and visiting the cemeteries with good memories of those who no longer reside on earth.

Thanks Honchey for the email. I love playing the video over and over. My DGF and DGM did sing the O'ver there song from WWI... Brought back wonderful memories of my childhood. Dad served in WWII, and DH was in the AF. Too bad Civics is not taught in eighth grade anymore. . .
