I already have the book plus I bought all of the fat quarters and a nice shirting fabric for the background, last spring , so maybe I can start at the beginning or just right jump in where everyone is right now. Are the blocks getting more difficult as they progress or are they just being made in order?

Patti - the air conditioner was running on Saturday! We may not have a frost until closer to Thanksgiving! Or, we could have one tonight. We never know here. This is high plains country, not really desert. Big oil country. Annual snowfall is 3-4" total! Ground never freezes.

I should be basting before the end of the month if the triangles go together well. Yes, they are fabrics that appeared in the squares, and will make an encore appearance in the triangles. Will do a cutrain call for the alternating sloid fabric tris. Must lay it all out so I don't have the same fabric close to itself anywhere!
Congratulations Quilts, you have done well to get this far so early, I hope assembly goes well too.
I'm jumping is a little late but I noticed that your blocks look as if they are being quilted as you go. Is there a specific place i can look to learn about what you are doing?

I think it is on page 214 of the main Jane Stickle thread - if not, check one page either side, and you will find how I tried to describe what I was doing.

Cathy, feel free to jump right in or you could start at the beginning. The summer weeks were the easy ones, right now they are getting hard again. The beginning weeks started out pretty easy. The schedule that we were using is posted by Klue on the main Dear Jane Cyber Block Party Thread. We'll be around here to help you, admire your work, offer assistance and of course to listen to you whine if you need to..:D:

Cathy, just to let you know the first schedule printed on the main thread for this DJ is incorrect but will give you an idea of the schedule we are all working to. I think the corrected version is on page 187 or there abouts.

Jump right in and join us. You can always go back and do the blocks at the beginning later.

Here are my last 2 corners. Now to lay out all triangles for border & sew together. It was 88° here yesterday, so I may make my deadline of finishing top before the first frost.
