So here is a little challenge..... list 5 things you don't think anyone on the board may know about you


Here is my responses
1. I use to run my own day care with 33 kids and 4 ladies who worked for me. We were open 24/7.
2. I worked as a nurses aide in nursing homes for 10 yrs
3. I was raised in a Quaker Friends Church. Got married there too.
4. I studied Spanish for 4 yrs and French for 3. I also took Latin in high school. I love languages.
5. My first job was pumping gas and checking oil and batteries in my Dad's Texaco from the age of 10 til I was 17 when he closed the station.

Here goes: 1. I was born and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia (Gwinnett County) and still live there.
2. I have been a clerk, secretary, bank teller, parapro, medical transcription.
3. I have one sister and one brother.
4. I've been married for 37 years and have two grown sons.
5. I was raised as a Baptist and I belong to a Southern Batpist Church.

1. I grew up on a small fishing community on an island off Nova Scotia called Cape Breton
2. At 17 my mom signed on the dotted line for me to enter into the military, I've been stationed all over the world and have been in 2 tours of combat.
3. I have two beautiful daughters and two handsome grand sons
4. I worked as an ER/trauma nurse in Oklahoma City for 10 yrs before returning home to Canada
5. I love to cook - for me its a de-stress part of my day I'm always looking for new recipes! I don't believe in eating out of a box I prefer to have a nice home cooked meal it's the way things were in our house we dad working 2 jobs and mom working full time we always ate supper at the dinner table as a family.

1. Lived in the Republic of Panama and taught elementary school at a private school there.
2. Raced sports cars.
3. Hate to cook - I cook on the major holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Years Day.
4. Have been selling antiques on Ebay for nearly 20 years.
5. Retired for the 3rd (and hopefully last time) from owning a mushroom delivery business.

Ok here's mine

1. Never been out of the United States.....traveled North to WI and tip of FL but not east or west of Alabama
2. Married for 33 years, 2nd wife to a wonderful man that's disabled
3. Design Engr. by day
4. Southern Baptist, church clerk, Teacher to children
5. Never gotten a speeding ticket but probably should have a couple of times (LOL)

1 I am an only child
2 I chewed my fingernails untill I was in my 20's
3 Was raised as a Lutheran
4 I was raised on an apple orchard have done every thing from planting to cutting down, and everything
in between. and can honestly say I hate the taste of apples, and all products made from them.
5 I was once a chain smoker, started at the age of 13, quit 33 years later.Havent had one in 16 years

1. I was the first girl in the history of Greeley Colo. high schools to take auto mechanics.
2. My first job was rogueing in the fields in Kansas with my Aunt.
3. I got my first tattoo at 17.
4. I have moved 37 times in 54 years.
5. I was a grandmother at 35.

Jingle

1. Got married at 16, Husband 20, Dec. 30th this year we will celebrate our 50th anniversary.
2. We have 3 kids, 7 Grand kids, 2 Great Granddaughters.
3. Lived here for 42-1/2 yrs.
4. Only lived in 3 places before moving here.
5. I stayed home raising kids for 25 yrs. before working for my Husband.

I detasseled for 3 yrs. My mom had her own crew for several years but I didn't work for her. I worked on a family friend's crew. She was the sort that the field had to be stripped clean before she let us quit. We had alot of fun tho!

1. I love music. I play guitar, not so great, but I have fun, I am in my church's bell choir and the senior choir as well
2. I love to cook. I have fun making up dinners from what's in the closet and fridge
3. I retired from our local Department of Social Services after 33 years on the job.
4. I had a gastric by-pass operation about 7 years ago. I lost close to 100 pounds and have kept it off.
5. Imet my husband when we were 15 and in High School. We have been married for 39 years
