Of course they can't "force" the person to send the item, but they can certainly can ban her from further listings, unless she has a legitimate reason for this happening. I would love to see her explanation for this one if they got involved. But you really didn't get a very positive response from them. Too bad you got the party line.
I do have my favorite dealers and buy from them, if shipping costs don't make the item more than I would be willing to pay.

I like doing business with another on-line auction site called On-live Auction (ola). As a seller it was great, but because they are small I didn't get very much action. But it is fun to buy from them. Of course, E-Bay is hard to beat for volume of items.

that is to bad for you, i seem to get the impression that the only way Ebay can help you is to tell you to send a negative feedback that sure isnt much since the seller kinda broke an agreement to sell that item to you, i would sure leave a nasty feedback

With the item # it was quite easy to search out the item you had bid on and the seller. I see this seller also has a negative for selling a replica item as an original.

Go with the feedback, stating item in FB so others can see the kind of seller they are

Follow thru with the negative feedback and other items as mentioned by the Ebay rep. They may not be able to help you specifically , but if a trend continues they will ban the seller and the only way to end the deception is if buyers report it. Sorry you had such a disappointing experience

Please leave the feed back, this is the only way it seems to stop this lady from doing it again to someone else. God bless. Penny

I would do whatever I can - this doesn't seem right. I have bought and sold over 800 things on ebay with only one problem from a seller. She gave a very poor description of the condition of an item.

Good luck - ebay has gotten soooooo big..........
