Yes to all of that - so funny it hurts! And never mind bathing suits, the rest of today's fashions are a nightmare of thin, stretchy clingy things that emphasize every bulge. Back when I wore a size 8 (ages and ages ago) wouldn't you just know that the stores were full of things that were loose-fitting, with immense shoulder pads and big, baggy sleeves!

Oh, I know, and it so un-flattering, but women wear it! That's why I decided to learn to sew, I want to make clothes that are not see-through, and fit well!
