I'm in Illinois near Chicago and I have already observed all of the above. But it's such high humidity it's awful.

I heard that the Almanac has predicted a colder then normal winter for all the eastern half of the country. Lets hope not. We had a lot of ice last year and lost power for three days. We are not use to this in the south. Lets hope they are wrong. I have noticed that the leaves are changing here earlier then usual.

You are not the only one Super Member. I love the Fall and Winter. Our Hummingbirds usually stay until mid Sept here in No VA but they have been thinning our for the last week and the Starlings are back early. We had a nice Summer but for the last 4 days it has been in the 90's and Humid. Cooler and even cold weather let me spend a lot time on needlework and quilting. Stay safe and warm.
