I'm eating way less but gaining none the less....
Some of it water retention....give me my hormones back and leave it out of the food chain!
Can't even trust fruits and veggies either.

Farmers encouraged to supply the demand one way or another.

One problem ID by some government official:

Peoplellution............his word.

In my late 40's I was diagnosed with an allergy to pink meat fish such as salmon, trout, steelhead. I was still able to eat all other seafoods and I love them by the way. Three years ago I almost bit the dust after eating a piece of halibut that my husband had caught that same day. Now the doctor says no more fish anything and even took me off of fish oil pills. No lobster, no crab, not even a little bite as he says it could be fatal. He said it is quite common as we age to develope different food allergies. Good thing I really like elk meat.

regarding raising your own beef....been there, done that and will never do it again. In our area it takes approx. 10 acres of pasture per animal since we have so much water content in the grass during the winter. I weigh 123 lbs and was having to lug 100 lb bales of hay out to feed them....not worth it to me.

We raise our own beef. Whenever we would eat at a restaurant, our daughter would feel sick afterwards. Figured out it's the difference between our unadulterated beef and feedlot beef.

Hi Beth, You and all the others are so right! I am trying to find a farmer who butchers his own grass fed beef.
...and you lucky thing...there is nothing better than moosemeat! It is so tasty! ...and no chemicals!
Best wishes! Jeannie

The only reliable test is a colon biopsy, but this will give you an idea if gluten is a factor. I don't want to give medical advice, but I have been there, done that and know how much better I feel without gluten.
Yes - Once quite a while ago I complained to my bone specialist that "all my joints hurt" and he suggested it might be Celiac's Disease and to give up wheat...
The results were amazing! within about 10 days the joint pain was gone.
but the hormones injested in beef are a different thing.

Our daughter (age 48) gets severe migraines when she eats beef. She spent a year in Kiev, Ukraine and had no problems. Do you suppose it is all the additives we use?

Beef and milk both make me feel toxic or poisoned. I gave up both. I don't miss it.
