I just used Pay Pal for the first time. I have questions for those of you who have used it. Did you link it to your bank account to raise the limit of what you can charge on your credit card? Have you had any trouble with Pay Pal? Any advice, positive or negative?
Thanks, Joanne

I don't trust paypal 100% with linking my bank account so I either use a gift card or a debit card from my online only account. I know with new accounts they do have daily limit so to say but I guess if you link your bank account they will raise it. Security reasons I guess

I use paypal all the time. The funds come out of my bank account. You can have funds charged to a credit card. I like it. It is about as safe as anything out there.

I use PayPal all the time. My card is linked to my bank account and is used for transactions. The bank account being linked is for the added protection of one not having the funds on a card to cover their purchase. The two times I have had issues, PayPal has remedied the situation quickly.

I love Paypal, never once in all these years had a problem.
And it's very safe for buyers.
Mine is linked to my bank account. I'm also a seller and I have the funds transferred to my bank acct.
Really convenient.

I have one account linked to a credit card not verified and another one linked to my bank account. If you intend to use it only with a credit card there is no need to verify with a bank account. They say it increases the amount you can spend, but this amount is not cumulative. It resets itself and you never run out of $, unless you use it a real lot.

NEVER had a problem with PayPal. And so many of the retailers prefer it. I just use my debit card - didn't link my checking account because I never buy huge amounts anyway.

I use pay pal all the time. I use my debit card which comes out of my checking account. I have never had a problem with them in all the time I have been using them.

I use paypal once in a while. I have it linked to a credit card. I don't like the idea of linking it with a bank account.
