Default Static electricity

Having just washed, dried and ironed my best trousers I put them on. They clung to my legs by static electricity. Anyone know how to remove it from my trousers so they are comfortable and non cling?

rub a fabric softener sheet over them or use static cling spray. I hate when that happens!

They say you can rub with a fabric softener sheet but I have not tried it.

I live in an area that is very dry. Our humidity average runs about 15%. We live with static. This is what I do:
Put about 1 tsp of fabric softener in a medium to large spray bottle and fill with water. Mix well and spray lightly on the inside of trousers. They will be slightly damp, you can put in dryer for a minute or use hair dryer.

If you don't want to do that, you could try to rub a dry softener sheet on the inside of the pants and see if that will do. That works depending on how much humidity is in the air.

Easy solution is to rub some hand cream or body lotion on your legs, this kills static right away.

I used to buy a can of (anti) static spray for that.

I use fabric softener in the wash and a dryer sheet in the dryer and that pretty much takes care of it for me.

I find that rubbing little hand lotion on hands and then lightly running your hands over it really immediately unstatic it!!
