Yes, I love them! I've used them for a purse and for a notebook cover. The subdued ones look so elegant. The problem is that some of them are so beautiful that I hate to cut them up.

I love my asian fabric. 50 percent of my stash is Asian. I do mostly the Gutsy Geisha patterns from Table runners to quilts.

I love them but every time I almost buy them I'm afraid I won't know what to do with them and all I'll have are a bunch of gorgeous fabrics that don't go together. I haven't seen the pattern I want to make yet and I'm afraid to ruin them by just cutting them up to play with a paattern...

I have not bought any Asian fabrics lately but I love them and have some in my stash. I used to belong to a Japanese fabric of the month club that sent me cotton fat quarters every month. I participated in a round robin that started with some of my Asian fabrics.

Yes, I have lots of Asian fabrics and no they do not just lie there.

I have just completed a beautiful quilt using an Asian grey print that has pink and mauve flowers in it. Turned out beautiful. I had saved this print looking for the right pattern and the right fabrics to go with it and it all came together one night and I made the quilt top the next day!

I LOVE Asian fabrics and would love to have more and more. I haven't used much yet, just one quilt made in a row-by-row robin challenge with friends.

I've been collecting and saving patterns to use my fabrics in.

A few really nice ones can be found on the Kona Bay fabric website ... I think I printed off 3 of the ones they show, many of the rest don't look 'Asian' to me. Also the Maple Islands BQ pattern is good for large prints
