Embroidery Machines Lets Chat & Have Fun

Several months ago I needed a wide variety of fonts and... I needed them NOW and as inexpensive as possible. I had not even heard of the website but asked around and it got some good reviews. I took a leap of faith and purchased the whole package of fonts. The other day I stitched out a few quilt panels for my cousin and was quite pleased with the results! So I thought I would pass along the information so others could enjoy them too. http://www.8clawsandapaw.com/
I have no affiliation with this website at all. I was simply very pleased with the stitchout of the fonts I purchased.

Found this board yesterday by way of the quilting board. Just downloaded the Embird upgrade and can't wait to give it a try. Between EQ7 and Embird I am like a kid in a toy store. Talk about ADD! annap
Is there a daily digest for this board as there is one on the quilting board?
Thanks for asking about Embroidery, I didn't know this board was here. I have been using the quilting board for several months now. Just today I received notice that there is an update on Embird and thought I should get back into embroidery. I have been obsessed with learning quilting and have neglected the embroidery. I have a Brother 750D & a Innovis 2500D.

Judy; Nice website thank you for sharing. That is one I haven't heard of.
Thanks; I've never heard of them before. Here is a site that I just found out about and stitched the design last night. It turned out really nice. I have to admit that my teacher took the design and made an eyeglass case with it so the rose lace design was inserted into it. Tonight I'll do the checkbook cover and bookmark. The site shows these things but we couldn't find the pattern so my teacher modified one she had and put some stippling on it; all was done in the hoop. They have a great sale going on right now too. This was the first time I had ordered and will order again from them.

I posted this also in the other embroidery forum that is running
but I know there are some who are not going to that posting
(yet at least) so though I would share the following with you.
Here are two of the latest projects I done. The pillow is finished and
in the mail to my cousin, and the quilt top is almost finished need to
sandwich, quilt & bind then it is ready to be given as the wedding gift
this Saturday.

Their wedding colors are yellow/gold & light blue (teal), the wedding
flowers are white hydrangeas. I hope this quilt will be a good show
of their colors. This is going to be a wall hanging that is 25"x32" approx.
The back is an embroidered quilt label.
I also have some other embroidery I have been doing, but can't show
it just yet as I am not finished with it and it is for someone I am in a
swap with, she has to be the first to see it though.
Of course I am loving the jewelry (mostly earrings) that I am making
right now I am wearing a pair of "parrot" earrings.

Thanks K.
This is the second Moluccan Cockatoo that I have made.
The first one I made as a mug rug swap (another website)
as the theme was "birds" when I posted it on facebook my
cousin (who has one of these birds) wanted the mug rug I
told him he couldn't have "that" one because it was already
spoken for, but I would make him one.
He (and his darling wife) paid me $55 for 2 embroidery birds
the other is an Umbrella cockatoo that is not "made" into any
specific project as Kelly is going to turn it into either a tote bag
or purse so she just wanted it embroidered on fabric and left
at that.
