I can't believe I just did that
I am making an appliqué block. Somehow I got something on the background fabric so I took a damp paper towel to try to get it off. Then I put it down on my ironing table on top of red fabric I was using and started to iron it dry. And stupid me not paying attention, got red dye on my block. I was just being lazy and not moving the fabric I already had down. Is there any way to save this block?
I am on my phone so if I can figure out how to post a pic I will.

I would try Synthrapol, which is designed to suspend unset dye particles in water. Synthrapol requires hot water and lots of it. You could do it in a stainless steel sink, but may need rubber gloves so you can agitate it a little.
