Welcome to the Quilting Board!

I have the teacher VIP card and even if I use coupons I always have the cashier run the card to see if it gives me more discounts. Sometimes she is surprised at what still gets a discount.
Then I would definately boycot them. There are other places that are much nicer. I rarely go there anyway.
Interesting. I just received an emailed 20% off JoAnns coupon eff 9/16 thru 9/17. The coupon says it will include "on sale item", this is an in-store coupon.
I got that also and now that is one they will not let you use that kind and then the VIP.
All very interesting and after reading all your responses I am still undecided. lol
Got you in the store, didn't it?Originally Posted by sherriquilt2
I'd call that a pretty effective use of marketing dollars. ;-)
I have yet to receive an invitation, sounds rather black-tie to me. I don't think I'll lose any sleep over this one. I have to go to JoAnns, unfortunately all the lqs have gone out of business in our area. Go I will but I'll leave my bells at home.Originally Posted by craftiladi
I'd like to know also. Do you need a tax ID #?Originally Posted by lindasidlow
The information is provided upthread, including the link to Joann's site which lists all the requirements.Originally Posted by Lorae Radunz
[quote=craftiladi]My sister is a manager at a JoAnns and it is not a store by store decision, you are correct in the assumption that the 10% VIP card cannot be used in conjunction with another coupon, although it can be utilized with any other sale items. The checkout person may scan that VIP card, and it may sound like it is going through, but look carefully at your receipt, it will state that the VIP discount card was not applied if there are no available items. I hope this clears up the confusion that everyone has. The only way that a store could override this is to change the percentage off on a 40% off coupon to 50% off. Again, check your receipts, I would guess that this is not happening.Originally Posted by sguillot
