    Default oiling machine

After Jenny Doan's tute on spring cleaning sewing machines, I do my own cleaning, although I am going to try vacuming it this next time problem is that I don't remember where to oil it, the shop shop I take it to showed me. it,s an older bernina that I love. But it is starting to squeak and I'm sure it need oiling, Can anyone help with me to know exactly where to oil?

Do you still have your manual? It will tell you where to oil. If not, a google search will probably bring up the manual. I found the manual for my mom's sewing machine online, and it's a white, so it isn't even being manufactured any more.

You need to take your Bernina in at least once a year for servicing just like your car. There are places you can't reach that dust bunnies can accumulate. I have a 1020 and a 1530 and have both manuals. Have you a removable hook?? You need to oil the hook race with 1 or 2 drops of oil. Use only a good quality of oil. Need to do that depending on how much you are using your Bernina. PM me if you need additional info.
