I bought my Juki from allbrands.com. At the time I was hunting down the best deal, they were offering a great bundle. Besides the package of knee lifter, extension table, normal stuff that comes, bobbins, cleaning kit, feet attachments, ect. it came with several packages of Signature thread, tons of needles, a box of 100 bobbins and a really nice pretty fabric carrying case.(though at 35lbs or so can't see using it to carry anywhere)another cover for in the room. The ground freight shipping was free, and they did offer financing if needed or wanted, though I don't remember much about that part since I didn't use financing. At the time the "bundle" was a better deal than the regular offer for it was a sale going on. I didn't have any issues at all with them, delivery or the machine itself. I haven't ordered from them since then, so I don't know what their prices are today.I am only mentioning them because of options of shopping around for deals/service. I really like my Juki. Good luck on your decision.

I'm doing straight-line quilting on the 2010 for the first time and love it. The only issue I've had so far is that the walking foot likes to push the fabric forward at seam intersections. I have the pressure turned all the way down. I'm stopping at the intersections now and compensating for it, but that small irritation isn't keeping me frm loving the machine.

I had the 98Q as my first "real" quilting machine. Absolutely loved it. When DIL wanted to learn, I gave it to her (she loves it too!) and I replaced it with the 2010Q. Still in love! My sisters come to sew with me and take turns, it's their favorite too. What I like best- the auto thread cutter or maybe the fact that it really adjusts to any weight of fabric or the ease of cleaning and oiling. I stick to the 8 hours recommended, the machine just purrs. I swear it is an extension of me- I don't like alterations and it didn't like the 2 Prom gowns I did last year. But give it a quilt and it's very happy, just like me.

I have the TL2010Q also. It is by far the BEST machine I have ever owned! Beautiful stitching, fabulous tension, and it also free-motion quilts like a dream. It is really heavy and certainly not portable, as someone above mentioned. But like others have said, it's a workhorse. I'm finding that I reach for my zig-zag machine a lot less just because I love sewing on the Juki so much... I find ways of doing things with straight stitches instead!
I ordered mine from Sewing Machines Plus in California. It was a "show model" so it was less expensive, and no shipping or tax either, which made it even more affordable. Go for it... you won't be sorry!

I LOVE MY JUKI!!!! I use it all the time. It is a work horse and does the most incredible machine stitching. People ask me if I have an longarm and I say no, just my sit down Juki. Right now I am doing very dense quilting on a wall hanging and it has two layers of cotton batting. I will post when I get it done. The machine is AWESOME!!!!
