I took my maching to my LQS for service. It's been too long. I'm having trouble with the bobbin tension, I figured it was time. He can have it done in 1 1/2 hours, but that's a long time to wait in a pretty small town. So, I'm without until tomorrow. Whatever will I do? lol I'm actually going to cut out a Bow Tuck that I'm going to make bigger for a diaper bag.

I thought a day wasn't bad either. I don't have a backup, so it's going to be a long afternoon and evening. You can bet I'll be there bright and early tomorrow though

I just picked mine up from having its "spa services" It was 2 weeks without it for me!! (While I was there, I drooled a little while over my future machine....a Janome Horizon. I get to pick it up in another month.)

So 1 day doesn't sound bad to me at all!

I have a spare. Its all metal and weighs a ton, but it can sew a straight line.

I got it back!! Unfortunately they weren't able to do much with the thudding (knocking) noise it's been making when the needle goes up and down. They said it's caused by the parts in the take-up lever to the needle bar getting worn a little. ::sigh:: I'm off to make another Bow Tuck now!!

Soudns like a good reason to buy another one. Keep this one for when you are without a machine. I have one that makes noises too but I love it. DOn't take it to retreats though because people complain. Can you imagine that??? ROFL
