Stuff you use
When threading needle on sewing machine put a small piece of white paper behind the needle, easier to see the hold for threading.
Spice rack w/glass containers for 'small stuff".
small plastic drawers (mine has 3 ) on wheels for material

I loved reading all the threads on this topic. I use most of all the ideas listed. The only one I didn't see that I do use is a washed out dish detergent bottle for pouring water into my steam iron. It works great as the spout on the bottle fits very well into the hole on the iron.

I use the hair coloring bottle with the long tip, for liquid starch and water. I use it to help form the circles in applique. A binder clip, masking tape, and a large coffee cup for a cone thread holder. Scrapbook box to hold my blocks in progress--they also go with me to the bees. I also put bits of fabric, thread, scissors, magni eyes, (or what ever they are called) all go into the 12" square scrapbook plastic boxes. I too have several of the mens tool boxes, that have plastic drawers that hold, bobbins, needles, scissors, rotary cutters, paper punches to cut circles to form circles for applique. Gel pens, I use with pigma pens. Mechanical pencils, freezer paper of course and magic markers. Manilla paper cut to letter size, and then fed through the printer for paper piecing. Calculator for figuring out various block sizes and multiples. Metal shelving with the shelves pushed up above the olfa drawer systems below. The drawers my fabric stash, and various related things, paint, and embroidery hoops. The shelving holds many containers that hold dyes, wire, rubber stamp ink, brayers, (the rubber stamps are in the garage but are often in my workroom to help create different fabric) tools that I can find! Hammers, plyers, power drill, my dremel, cords, clothesline, I've made knots for closures. Yes, I too have a couch, and a drop leaf table, TV, and my shadow-my dog.

I use a candle warmer to keep my coffee warm; trust me, I need this when quilting and embroidery. I also use the binding things for paper, the ones with all those little "fingers" on them that goes thru the punched holes of the paper to make a notebook, to hold bobbins with thread on them. I can group them together by thread type, cotton, rayon, etc and they take little room and hold the lose ends from going all over the place and its easy to see what color you have. You can even cut them down to size so if you are carrying things to class, etc it'll fit what ever size you case is. You can get them at any office supply store, I use the med size ones for the bobbins.

I use a large folding table 30" x 60" with a formica top, covered with batting and light weight canvas cloth, for an ironing surface for my quilting. Lots of room.
Gal + jars from Sams (pretzels etc) for keeping my 1" cut selvages for future use and also one for scraps, by my cutting table.
The cutting table is a tripple dresser (garage sale) that is the right height for the cutting table, with 3/4" ply or OMC board cut the length of the dresser & cut about 1 foot deeper so that it holds a bolt of material across it. I place my cutting matts on top and have lots of room for cutting out my projects.
