I'm at Road to California today, Friday and Saturday. My DH was supposed to go too but he got a stomach upset and I'm on my own here. He's now wishing he had gone because my class tomorrow is using the sit down sweet 16. I spent 45 minutes at the booth trying it out today. It was so easy to use. I was almost as good on it as I am on my home machine. He's getting nervous I'm going to buy one of the class machines. hee hee

My husband painted the fabric and cut it out to make the landscape quilt I'm going to quilt in the class. He has wanted to design a quilt for a long time but that's the most enjoyable part for me. I was on a time crunch and let him do this one. Designing is the funnest part so I usually don't give that up but I have to admit he did a lot of work on this quilt. He told me to take pictures at every step because he's 'documenting' the process.

I have a HQ16 converted to a sit down, will be trading it in soon for the sweet 16, mine doesn't have foot control and I'm just not that co-ordinated to reach up to the handle to start, stop and increase my speed. Other then that I totally love it
