I will be mailing my package to my SP later today. I just have to write a note to her. Here are some clues:

1) she does post here but not a lot.
2) from my door to hers is 750 miles.
3) She has a pet.
4) She celebrates holidays
5) she is a grandmother

Buslady, Good luck with your new dog. We rescued two 6-yr old Silkie Terriers and had them for more than 10 years. I still miss them fiercely but now am free to travel. My crazy cat stays home and my GS comes and feeds him. He went to the kennel just once and he was really MAD when I got home.

Just about ready to mail, still have some hand sewing to do and ordered something wanted, hope it gets here. Might have to send it on later. Have swapped with her before on other threads. Likes the same colors I do. Need to get the box out and start collecting, celebrates holidays too!

Lori, so sorry about your cat, same happened to us last year.

I have a brother sewing machine is it me?

Clue to my SP just finishing off package will post tomorrow, have ordered the thing you really want and it will come to you directly. You don't post on here but you may be watching. We have been swap partners before.

thank you everyone for your thoughts and hugs. Kitty was 15 and lived a very spoiled life. I had to put my other cat to sleep about 5 years ago, he was 17 and he had a stroke and was having convultions

Lori, so sorry about kitty, I know how hard it can be. after we lost the last of 4 we moved down here with we swore off cats...until Ray came bounding out at a campground and adopted us (no fool he). I'm sure that if you're meant to have another kitty, it will appear. Altho we miss the freedom of just taking off without packing his majesty, who isn't quite the good traveler our prior cats were (he hasn't got the idea that it's a good idea to use a litter box in a moving vehicle, which means when we got home from DC I picked him up and put him on my lap to let him get out of the car and he peed all over my leg), we still wouldn't give up his love and affection for the world.

It's just really so sad when we lose them...

Sp I'm beginning the hunt for more info about you. I'm off to check your profile and recent messages to see if anything strikes me....too late to hide! You live in a state we do a lot of stopping in, your state is about halfway between Ga and NE, plus it's got a ton of great thrift stores, but I'm not sure where your town is so gotta look that up too...
