GM Flower Garden Finished & Yo Yo Quilt
#1
The First picture is the Grandma's flower English piecing quilt. It took me 2 years to do the flowers.
The second pic is the quilting on the back.
Third pic is a YoYo quilt that has to have been started approx 50 yrs ago or more. My Grandmother was working on it when she passed. My mother worked on it thru the years and gave it to me 20 years ago in 9 patch squares. I came across it in a cedar chest 3 yrs ago and decided to put it together. I was short 1 9 patch to finish it so I made 9 YoYo's and scattered them in with the others. This is my 3 generation quilt and it actually fits a twin bed.

The grandmothers flower garden is so great!! I love the way the quilting pops the flowers! It is so neat to have a three generation work finished....Much better displayed then kept put away. :D
