good luck with your quilt project. i am also making a bowtie quilt using ethnic prints and black fabric. nothing to show yet but i have all of my bowtie squares made. please post a pic of what you decided to make when you can.

The 1st pic is supposed to be a scrappy bargello table runner. The 2nd pic is a baby quilt using Jacob's Ladder pattern. 3rd pic is a paper pieced block from Charise Creates. I added the scrappy border. 4th pic is a scrappyBroken Dishes mini wall hanging.. 5th pic is scrappy Dresden Plates mini hanging. The last pic is a single size quilt. Only top and backing. No batting. Not sure whether to call it scrappy as i actually cut out strips from my stash and not my scraps.

Here's my latest scrappy finish, a foundation-pieced string quilt for my husband's niece, who is facing surgery in a couple weeks. Her favorite color is green so I used a pastel green for the sashings and a green and white plaid for the back. I estimate that it used approximately 7.5 yards from stash. Of course the string bins don't look any less full ...

declared war on my scrap bag: resulting reversible QAYG quilt Completely reversible king-size quilt; both sides are made totally from scraps. I used Warm & Natural batting. It's a bit heavy as it's got so many (thousands, it seemed!) seam allowances enclosed :o so it's nice to be able to "change" the quilt by just turning it over. This one is "Buggy Wheels".
