Oh, Guys!!! You did so great! Gwyn: Your response is more than I could have imagined. The best way you could say "thank you" was to do exactly what you did - wrap up in all the love that was part of the quilt. Mousie - You are amazing. Touching a heart is the best gift there is and I think you have touched hearts that I cannot begin to count. The love and warmth flowed into many homes right along with Gwyns. Each time I visit the "board," I'm reminded of what wonderful, special, loving, giving people quilters are. Thank you all for letting me be part of this group. Gwyn got me to do my first doll quilt and that was my major connection with this group. Relationships bloomed from there. I know Mousie was so excited about doing this project. Like was said in so many earlier posts, there is so much love in that quilt! I think there is a tighter bond with all of us too. We know this is a safe place to open our hearts. Blessings to you all, dear friends.

You have all warmed my heart and helped me to heal. However, there are so many who have lost husbands, fathers, children, mothers. This has been a tough year for everyone.
Earlier this summer, one of our quilting sisters past away. Her husband was kind enough to let us know, but there was never anything said. I would like to pay it forward by making a quilt for this man and his son. If you know this woman's address/name and can help me locate where to send the quilt please let me know. Once I receive this information, I'll see about posting a thread to collect squares. Thank you so much.

And home is where the heart is Gwyn. And you do the heart thing so very well. And you share all that you have so lovingly. You are a very special lady and deserve every good thing that comes your way.
You give and give to others, making their lives better and showing them what love is. And when you share your life with us we get some of that love too and are encouraged and inspired to follow your example.
Thank you Mousie for giving us a way of sending some of the love to Gwyn. I was honored to send a block, as a very small contribution to the quilt for an Angel.

I'm glad you have a great place to go and sew. I'm really stuck at home because I can't drive. My children are willing to take me, but most of the time they are working or going to school. We don't have public transportation so I am home.

Hi Gwyn,
Some know that I have not had a computer or my own since May of this year. I go to my DD's house and use hers and help her with the expense etc.
I'm saying I have not been able to keep up with so much on the board this year and was totally unaware that we lost a sister quilter. I'm so sorry about that, and sorry I didn't know.
I'd love to send you a block to help with a quilt for her husband and her son.
I'm sure many others would too. Could you let me know who this was and what colors you will be needing?
As for doing for others and paying forward...you are the most, lol, "forward" person I know.
You do so much for others and you have a TON of patience with your friends. We all make mistakes and sometimes it's not even so much that we made a mistake, but the person took our words or gestures in a way that we really didn't mean to convey. Trying to make amends is all we can do. Give it time. You are too precious a friend to lose. Your friend will come back around
I'm on my mom's computer, but if you forget to post about the sister quilter, I'll contact you soon.
Your right, so many have had heartaches in the past year or so.Love and hugs to each and everyone. Know that we all care and you are not alone.
