I've been practicing the radio wave machine quilting that would look great on that quilt. If you can get a picture of it when it is done ok? I want to see what they decide to do.

Tkhopper: I will need to look up what radio wave quilting looks like exactly.
My church group ties all of their quilts and gives them to charity.

Retired Teacher 09 It's in Leah Day's 365 pattern book. Maybe many other places as well. I just thought done in the diagonal it might be a nice addition. My Quilt Club quilts the ones we give away to charity. It's a good place to practice once I get up to speed on a technique.
Well I was hoping to start a contest which would have given me a reason to delve into the fat 8th's but it didn't work out. Maybe next time.

To tell the truth I don't feel too bad about this fall from grace. Went to an estate sale and found approx. 18 yards of good quality cotton for $8. Very little guilt involved.

Emma - nice find!
I had the best of intentions at the beginning of the year of keeping up with this thread, and I have failed miserably. On the up-side I have purchased very little fabric that I didn't need to finish a project.
While on retreat in February, I purchased about 8 yards of sale fabric, but other than that, I've been living clean. It helps that I do not have a quilt shop within decent driving distance, so I have to buy everything on-line.
What I haven't done is reduced my stash very much as gardening has taken over my life lately. But with summer coming on, I'll be doing more quilting.

Woo Hoo Emma...Way to go. 18 yards for $8 calls for no guilt at all. You all know we would have done the very same thing. Thanks for sharing picture. I think I have some of that white with cats on it. Will love to see what you create with it. :-)
