still maintaining my fabric queen status. Bought over 2 yards of fabric from a club member who was de-stashing a bit. Her taste and mind are very much alike. Hope i find a purpose for them.

Pffer - those are beautiful. I love the pattern and keep saying I will make one - but never have the nerve to ...yet!

I found this link that has a pie chart that explains our purchasing habits:

Pyffer3 those look great. I love that pattern and have used it myself. I spent the afternoon teaching my BFF SID quilting. (Well, putting together the sandwich, spray-basting, and quilting.) She did great. There is more quilting to be done and then we will square up and do the binding. I just LOVE passing on what I know.

She is the kind of quilter who will finish one project before moving on to the next and I HIGHLY ENCOURAGED her to continue that mind-set. Wish I could work that way......

Default Radiant cleaned up some Reds and Greens

Finally getting back to check in......I did dive into my stash to make a pattern called "Radiant", but I had used all my whites and creams before Christmas, so I had to acquire some neutral again; found some white on white at a reduced price at JoAnns.
Here's is a pic of squares placed on design wall. I put the squares together last weekend and ready for borders.
I don't know why the pic is sideways???

This is the baby quilt I made using mostly scraps from my stash. The border and the backing are from fabric I purchased last year when I was 'forced' to purchase fabric for Mitchell's chevron quilt since DD didn't like the fabrics I had in my stash. I had found the plaid and citron here at that time and knew I had to have them for this baby quilt. The background and blues were from the stash. I made it for my aunt's great-grandson. Her first great-grandchild!

I received a $150 gift card from DS and Hubby for Christmas. I've used 1/3 of it, but none for fabric. I bought a small OTT light, some sewing machine needles and something else, but no fabric.
