I am sure those parameters fall within the guidelines, happylab. Happy early birthday to you. Besides, you said you "NEED" them - so that falls outside the rules as well. hehe

Happy Birthday, Happy Lab! I'm sure that the birthday month rule has a 2 week grace period on either end of the month (let us know if you need more time as we will adjust the rules to fit)!

I think we should continue this post to show everyone what we buy on the off months and sale months. What do you all think?

Yippee! Scratch my last "confession" as it was a day shy of my birthday month. DH got me a Juki to celebrate the big 5-0 so I think I want to turn 50 every year.

Well, got in some time today to again attack the free bins of fabric. Cut a pile of scraps into fabrics for Asian scrappy road that will go to the donor of all that fabric, because I assume that anyone with an entire bin of Asian fabric must really love it. Dove into my own stash for the sashing and borders. Hope to piece it tomorrow while watching the debate. Pressed and folded about ten yards of fabric. By the end of the weekend, maybe it will all be washed, pressed and folded.

I finished my first true first scrappy quilt with all the fabric coming from my stash. I enjoyed this so much (remembering what fabric went to what quilt and who got it) that I'm hoping to set aside a piece of each quilt I make from now on.
Krisb would love to see your quilt when completed. Asian fabric is just gorgeous.

Thanks oksewglad. Some of those scraps made it into a quilt before the non scraps did! Time to get to work on them.

Elly, that quilt left great space for quilting too. Lovely - just lovely!

Thanks Martina. I did a feather design in the large spaces. It was a lot of fun but no where close to trying free form feathers in a quilt.
