I have made the triangle frenzy runner several times for the LQS...cutting it straight is the key and off you go. I admit I just made one that I don't like...why? Not enough color contrast in the fabric....we are using it as an example of what fabric not to use! Had I used the 60* striped table runner pattern it would have looked fine....I'm sure your will look great and do share with us

Sophie2, you are in the green for the fall because you actually used the fabric. Beautifully too!
Zozee, good for you. I have been good but am getting closer to my fall. Week after next at the retreat NEXT DOOR to a quilt shop. BUT I will claim my birthday exemption.
Belfrybat, you are in the green too because the purchase was necessary for a pattern where you didn't have anything fitting in your stash.
You can call me the queen of rationalization.

Despite a few thumps, it sounds like everyone is doing well!
Love your quilt, Sophie & also like the 'husband's birthday month' exemption! It's my DH's BD next week. I think I might have to celebrate!
Meanwhile, my brother wanted a baby shower gift. Mostly stash, purchased the pastel blenders (but actually made 2 quilts). I also used up some of my stash vinyl to make a matching bag & used up some of my equally vast paper storage for a matching card. Quite a nice ensemble if I do say so myself!

PaperPrincess I love your quilt, bag and card. Nice use of stash. MadQuilter, thank you for saying I was still in the green. I really pushed myself to get it done quickly so I didn't add to my stash or UFO pile. Once my machine gets back from the factory I work on getting it quilted.

Hi. Just joining. I have my own set of excemptions (sp). Vacation and retreats are allowed a predetermined $ in cash. Oh-also birthday-which is this coming week. One goal is to shop my stash before shopping a store. Another goal is to forgive myself, and pick up where I left off. Another goal is complete a "comfort" quilt every month using some stash in it and fabric from the guild.
The pic is a table runner. The idea was a class at guild, which I adopted. It's so spring looking, think I'll go put it on the table
So I start CLEAN today.
