It's finally completely finished, binding and all. Here is my color version. I did the quilting straight line and used a QAYG method I thought of myself, if worked for me but was very "fly by the seat of your pants" kinda thing. I am especially pleased w/ my binding and mitered corners. I didn't do the scalloped border / binding, just the normal kind, but this is the first big project that ALL my corners are about as perfect as you can get!!!!

Love your color choices and that backing fabric is gorgeous.

All the pretty quilts! Congratulations Quilting Vagabond and Kassaundra (and all the others) on the finished quilts. Just beautiful.

Finished all the 4 patches. Double and triple counted them. Now, just waiting on the next clue...

oops - posted the 4-patch count in the wrong thread. The finished quilts are still beautiful.

I am not doing Bonnie's mystery this year but I was askedto pick up paint swatches for a friend as I am much closer to Lowes than she is. I got all the swatches except for the magenta . There were NO magentas. The clerk even checked her computer and could find nothing called Magenta. If someone would post the number of the magenta swatch maybe that would help me/my friend. Thanks and have fun.

I think the name of the paint chip was Hibiscus.

Bonnie didn't give the numbers of the swatches this year, just the names. The magenta was called Hibiscus, but Bonnie pointed out that her magenta fabric was actually darker than the swatch; she said they did not have a paint chip in a deep enough shade. I would suggest you tell your friend to check the photo of Bonnie's magenta in the mystery intro, because that will actually be a better indication of what she's looking for than the Hibiscus paint chip.

The Hibiscus paint chip is an archived color. If you hunt around the Sherwin Williams website you can find it. Since Bonnie went darker I choose a paint chip that was in the same grouping as the purple and lilac chips. This is the color, cerise https://www.sherwin-williams.com/hom...ngColors&p=PS0
