So, do you get triple points not only for finishing up a UFO and in the current month, but it is also scrappy? I'm with the others, it is lovely. Fantastic job!

April UFO! Done. That makes 4 now for me. I really don't know what made this a UFO, except possibly lack of cash for the homespun. It didn't have a destination up until earlier this week. I was talking to my life-long friend, Joyce, and she said she liked the rustic look in her decorating. On went the light bulb; her birthday is coming soon. I think she'll like it. It is a large wall hanging or a lap quilt. As long as she doesn't throw it in a corner for her dogs to nap on, I don't care.

Actually, it has been quite satisfying and hasn't cost me a dime! I started with the one that was bugging me the most. I just have a few left to do, unless I dig further (they show up out of no where). Looking forward to seeing something that you have brought out of your closet!

Yeah! Finished 2 UFO's for April. The crazy quilt is for the youngest grandson who is 10 months old. Used the QAYG method to finish it. The star quilt is one I started last year from a kit. Thought it would be fast. Nothing seemed to go right with it so I'd put it away. Used advise from the board & just finger pressed- finished with no further frustraion. Even had fun with FMQ

I love them both. I was just asked to make a baby quilt for my daughter's boss's baby who will be born in August. Since I'm not fond of all things baby, I was considering something similar to Luke's quilt to use up my scraps. I would probably use the QAYG method too.

Really smart idea to cut scraps into 1-1/2 strips. I think I will start doing that. Lovely quilt & the quilting is beautiful as well.
