I don't remember the class, although Bonnie Hunter visited our guild. When I googled "spinning rails", one of the hits includes a free pattern done in batiks by Carol Britt on the Fons and Porter site: https://www.quiltingcompany.com/free...ok-fons-porter Hers uses 4 rails, but is otherwise the same concept.

Finished a wall hanging that's been around as finished top for at least 1 year.
I'll post pictures when I resolve the issue of camera to computer.

Congratulations of all the beautiful finishes.
Rose P....your quilt and quilting are fantastic. Amazing the designs you can do on Embroidery machines. Looks really cool...
I still have no UFO's though I've got a couple WIP. I do a little on each one each week. One is applique and the other is a pieced QOV so I have options when I can grab the time to sew. I'm on the hunt for a panel to use with my Summertime Swap blocks but so far nothing appeals to me. I suppose that is a WIP, too, since I'm still shopping for it. Whatever makes me feel good to call it...that's what I'm calling it.. Lol!

I finally finished up a Joann's BOM from 2001 (I think). It's called "Holiday Tidings", although it should be called my albatross, lol. I made the blocks up as a sample for the store, and at the end of the year, it was gifted to me. I really didn't like it, and decided I was not going to pay good money to have it quilted. In my infinite ignorance as a new quilter, I decided to hand quilt it instead (SMH). About once a year, I would take it out, work on it for a few days, then hide it out of sight again. I pulled it out a few days ago, and to my surprise, it only needed a couple of hours more quilting! I got the binding on last night and it is finally done! I still don't care much for the front, but I love how all the hand quilting looks on the back. I'll have to post a pic of the back later, as I forgot to take one before tossing it in the wash.

Thanks, Teen, Rob and Connie!
JJBlaine, Love that row quilt! Amazing perseverance - Congrats! I love to see hand quilting but will never have the patience to do it myself.
