I have two granddaughters who would love these bright colors. I see their very favorite colors there.

What a super quilt for someone who loves bright colors. You did a wonderful job. I am sure that she will be beyond thrilled with it. BrendaK

This is going to be a well-loved quilt. It is a very happy quilt with loads of personality. There is so much to like about this creation. The wide minky binding brought from the back is a creative finish. The quilting is perfect. Thinking as a six-year-old, it is dreamy.

I always admire your work.

How did you like doing the applique?

peace

What a wonderful quilt. I really like the positive and negative blocks. Charming. I love the fact that your dear MIL treasured it so much and now you have it back. What greater tribute to a quilter than to have someone show it to whomever would look.

Love the quilt and Paper Princess's name "Splat", though it also reminds me of the ball and jacks game I used to play as a child. The recipient will adore this quilt! Thanks for the story about your MIL and your second longarm quilting adventure. It gives me hope as I struggle to figure out what to place where and have used a similar technique with cardboard templates of dinosaurs, and footprints to add along with my meandering. What to place where is always my biggest struggle.
