    My scraps were all different sizes-just from my scrap bin. Then I did crazy quilt fashion on a muslin square. No pattern. Just used a 5 sized piece for my initial piece close to center must not spot on.

    Thought I better get in my latest April UFO. This one is a piece of fabric I hand dyed 4 yrs ago, then doodled with colored fabric markers a few months later but didn't know what to do with it after that. Last week I decided to make it into an art quilt so I layered it, machine quilted around all the doodle shapes with black thread and although the contrast helped, it still seemed lifeless. I got into art quilting because I wanted to combine my love of beading and quilting in my projects. This quilt got better with every bead I added! Now I love it. It can be hung in any direction.

    yes. I was laid up with a knee injury this past week so its all couch time. :)
