Good morning everyone!
I really enjoyed reading all the updates and seeing the pictures that were posted while I was sleeping. I spent most of yesterday cleaning my sewing room instead of sewing because I can't find the red and black broadcloth I KNOW that I have somewhere. Today, I'm going to have to move on without it. But I did make a pin cushion because I was tired of knocking my pin bucket over. I'm going to velcro it to my sewing table and make another one to velcro to my ironing board. My niece saw it and she wants me to make several for pillows for her stuffed animals. The tutorial can be found here: Moda Bake Shop.

Hey all, I've got a three day weekend and I'm looking to get a lot of projects done! Anyone interested in joining me in a virtual sewing retreat?

3. Finish piecing Nana's Quilt Top. Sandwich, quilt, and bind.
4. Cut out and sew two pairs of pants for Jack.

6. Cut out and sew three shirts for Jack.
7. Finish my purple surcoat.
Its enough to keep me busy for several weeks, guess we'll have to see how far I get.

I just finished binding this one. It, too, is a double slice layer cake made with 2 sets. It is a generous queen size. It is the quilt that was on the long arm when I had trouble with the long arm and it had to be sent back to the factory for repair. So this is called "The quilt that refused to be finished". Checking in! Bow tucks bags DONE- Just need to get buttons. Daughters work shirt repaired, pincushion and needle case swap items cut and ready to sew on, and got a fair amount of hand quilting done on my lone star! totally annoying that I can't get the pics up!!!

Kaelyn, your OBW is gorgeous! I saw one at a local quilt show and was so intrigued. I bought the OBW book and will begin when I finish a few projects and we get ourselves moved across country. Yours is very lovely!

OneTomatoPlant, thanks so much! You'll have fun with it, I really enjoyed rearranging the blocks and seeing how the fabric changed with the blocks. It was an outerspace fabric!
I've got two shirts cut out and am trying to stitch them together. It would be going faster if I didn't have to tear out half my work.
