Darn it again! I decided to use the 2.5" candies I got a few years ago from the Birthday Swap to make a Project Linus quilt for older kids. Of course, I ran to Hobby Lobby to get something to coordinate all them together and finish the quilt. Well......I just didn't think 1 yard was enough of this really cool fabric, then I found a coordinating fabric in the clearance bin...and then I had to use my 40% off on some Northcott fabric. Needless to say, $71.00 later.........Oh well, I will use the fabric and it was all purchased with the intention of using up other fabric. I think I'm in an endless circle.......Well......I'm staying out of stores for a little bit!

Nora, When HH has Northcutt at $9.99 and 40% off, it's hard to resist. I don't like the fraying, but love the Stonehenge line. I recently bought 1 yard of the lime, but it's already in a quilt, so I'm good.

That’s gorgeous ckcowl! That green was just the right touch with those beautiful purples. Great use of stash!

Ckcowl, I really like your purple quilt! Purple is my favorite color & you’ve used all the shades very well.

The pattern is called "Housewarming" from the book Moda All-Stars, Scraps Made Simple from That Patchwork Place, various authors.
Got 1/2 of the roofs paper pieced today and starting on cutting the other 1/2.

Connecting threads has their wide backing on sale. my quilty friend was placing an order. She had already fulfilled the free postage purchase amount and wanted to know if I wanted to add something to her order. I looked and thought, but then said no. Small victory for me!

I went to Connecting Threads after that was posted. There is a pretty new rose fabric, but I didn't buy anything. Going through my SIL's stash is overwhelming! I don't need to bring anything else in here.

Good for you guys! I saw the sale, too, but deleted the email.

I bought a bolt of unbleached muslin, 15 yds. I am going to make quilt bags to store my quilts for moving and storage. They will likely be in storage for 4-6 mos so I took the advice of others and the web to protect them the best I can. I bought large canvas storage totes to place them in. Hopefully, this will do it. So, even with this purchase, it will whacked into right away...
