Um--very little. I have at least six vintage and not-so-vintage Vikings, because I love sewing on them. However, enough is truly enough, and I have to get rid of some of these puppies. I just don't have space or time for them, and I'm sure there's someone else SOMEWHERE who needs them!

Aster or Ester meaning golden, since the chrysanthemum is in the Asteraceae family, just use the Aster, but change to Ester. Ester isn't German, but that was the closest I could get to a girls name that had to do with flower and chrysanthemum.

Michaela, feminine form of Michael which means "who is like God", since Pfaff's name was George Michael (isn't that a singer)

Lena, after Lena Pfaff who took over the business after 1919.

Ulla, meaning willful or deliberate.

Wanda, wanderer, (who knows where this machine has been).

Amelia, hard working (which all Pfaff's are)

Chrysta form of Christina which is Christ bearer ( goes with the Legend of Chrysanthemum)

Elsa, noble (your machine looks noble)

Emily, industrious hard working ( yup, that's a Pfaff)

Winola, charming friend (looks to be that type of machine, you can tell her your deeps secrets and she will never tell :) ).

I just sat down for the first time and sewed with Chrysta. I cleaned her, oiled her and she sewed a perfect stitch first try! I love the sound of this machine, but I doubt I use her too much! I don't want to hurt those decals in any way!

Cathy, you are right as always. I tried using the bobbin casing from my 15-88 - it didn't work. So I put the bobbin casing in from the 15 clone, Electra, I got when I got the Pfaff! That casing works perfect! I will have to stop by that little sewing repair shop in Citrus Heights tomorrow and exchange the casings. My DH went by there today to get me a casing and got the wrong one! I don't want to use the casing from the 15 clone - that is a nice little machine so I don't want to rob from it!

I also see this machine has the coolest little pressure release knob on the tension disk. You can just press the release knob to release the tension on the thread as it passes through the disk - I have never seen one of those on any of my other machines. Cathy do you know what I am talking about? Miz Johnny?

I vote for Chrysta too I was thinking that machine looked like Christmas - looks like glitter - very pretty.

I talked to her again and told her it just wasn't worth what she was hoping for, but if she ever decided to sell it or wanted to see that it got a good home, I'd love to have it. She said she would rather keep it than give it away for $50., so she will be keeping it.
