The Free SM has lovely decals too, though one wonders just WHAT they were sewing with that bright pink thread!! Be sure to post pictures once they are cleaned up! |

The free most likely will sit pretty for awhile until i get my studio done. I wasnt planning or expecting her so not really sure. I dont have a hand.crank machine so that is a possibility.

this is the treadle head i was given yesterday. Parisian serial number L219698. Shes smaller and lighter than any other heads i have. I picked it just because its something different from everything else i have. Now to find out more of her history. Took a little drive today to the depths of S. Jersey, but I think it was worth it. 28 is not cleaned up yet, straight out of the "garage".

A little 99k conversion to a handcrank. Wheel was notched and repro crank added--needs a little tweaking, but it works! I didn't want to cut into the cabinet, so the crank has to be removed before it can be folded back into the cabinet. She's a cutie pie. :)
