OK, it seems that some are using the layout diagrams part of software, and some are not. Now I need to write more, to talk those who are not, how to start from scratch, or it won't be fair, or helpful. Bear with me, and I'll do some more.

I agree! no rush at all. :) I am interested to see your directions though as my scallops will need to be separate since they are going to be different colors. :) Thank you so much for taking the time to put a tute together!

Okay so I have washed all the oranges I have. I think I won't be able to find enough workable oranges to have no repeats, which I think I am okay with. I wanted to post pictures of the fabrics I have so I could see what works and what doesn't. It's easier to see what fabrics are "off" when you look at them all together in pictures I think. So if you will indulge me, I am going to post the photos here. If you see anything that glaringly doesn't work, please feel free to offer your feedback. :)

Hi Rachel, I love all your oranges, I didnīt know there were that many different ones in the World LOL.

The onlyone thats stands out to me is the one with the dots on which have different colour dots, that just might not work in DJ as some of the pieces are so tiny you will get the colours come through instead of the oranges you want so much.

I do like the dotty one though its really pretty.

I agree the polka dots just kind of jump out at you. Like it but maybe not with this pattern.

I was just about to say the same thing.

Sorry for delay on scallops, I got bogged down with other things today.

no hurry as i have not been able to work on mine all week.

DH is in the hospital again (nasty little bugs are infecting him), of course having a heart rate of 152 did not help any.

hoping to bring him home tomorrow
