1 January 2012 BOM pattern & discussion.

Sorry to hear of your loss Surfergirl. I lost my mom almost 14 years ago and I still miss her very much. A memory quilt is a great idea, I finally started one to honor her. Not with fabric that was hers as there isn't any but I'm making a chicken quilt as she loved chickens and bright colors.

Just checking in to see if everyone is still getting their Snow Blossom block done, for January. Don't feel pressured to hurry if you are behind. Just be sure to post pictures & share with all of us here on the quilting board. Happy Sewing!!

Hello there,
There is no need to offically join this 2012 Calendar BOM project. You just need to find the January 2012 & February 2012 pattern's, listed under Block of the Month & Week. Make a copy of the pattern's, pick out your fabric color's you want to use & start sewing!! There are no time limits as to when you have to finish your block, just be sure to post a picture when you are finished, so everyone can see your nice work. These blocks are for you to keep so when the year has ended you will have enought block's to make your own quilt. Either for yourself or a gift to someone special to you. Good Luck & keep us informed on how things are going!!

Heya Sulabug and everyone.. Finally have all of my quilting stuff out of storage and Im set up in our new house. Between the moving and having a bad car accident. My quilting was put on hold When I was unpacking I came across all the house squares from last year and I made a mental note to log back in to the site here and see whats happening. Ive printed out both Jan and Febs patterns and am off to play in my fabric. Will post soon as I am done. Im so glad you are all still here. Hugs. Jen

Hi Jen........I am so thrilled to see that you are back with all of us again. We missed you, but are glad you are back. Congrat's on your new house & I hope you are well recovered from your accident, too. Most of us are still working on our House blocks for 2011, at some point or another. Myself, I am making a few more of them, to make a bigger quilt. We can't wait to see your new blocks for the Calendar theme BOM for 2012. Do keep us posted as we always want to see the new blocks!! SHOW & TELL are US!!
