Sounding like some patchwork involved in July's block. Can't wait to see!

For my second block, I decided to do a bride and groom instead of another bird house.

Wonderful birdhouses. I like the shingle material you have there for the large birdhouse. Really super.

Thank you! I bought a FQ of that fabric because I had to make a schoolhouse block for the Pony Club Quilt. I was hoping I could use it again because it was very expensive (about $ 5.00)

Thanks for all the kind comments on my bride and groom block. They are a machine embroidery design. No way could I do applique that small, can barely do large designs!

Such cute blocks...I finally played catch-up. Decided my quilt needed more than just the one cat block. Just finished making a quilt with this, so decided it was a good one to do for this month. Problem is, this block is 16"; so all my previous blocks got borders around them to bring them up to size.

    Added to my June block

Here is my June block (again!), but I added just a little bit of embroidery to make it look better.

Edit: Sorry that the pictures are not sized correctly!

Yours is too cute...I may have to think about sort of copying for another cat in my quilt...I have decided to use 3 blocks to make a runner, so will have to have 3 extra for the quilt...this might be one.

One can certainly tell that you are playing catch up really well!! Your June Birdhouse block is just as awesome as the other's you have posted, while getting caught up on photo's. Please tell your DD thank you so much for helping you get your pictures posted. The fabric choices for the birdhouse & your cute little birdie just make you block stand out. What a nice collection you have so far. Thank you again for sharing with all of us today.
