Now that I am back from vacation, I am taking my book over to staples and having them take it apart so I can copy the patterns better. Yeah. Then will start.

I had my book spiral bound. It makes it so much easier to work with and lays flat.

That's what I do too. I sew one whole section with my fabrics and see how I like them. If there is something I don't like then I traded out for a different color or fabric then if I lam satisfied then I do the rest of the sections in assembly line style.

Ohhh NYGAL I love your idea. I am having it spiral bound and I pick it up today. Been picking out material. I am so excited to get started.

California! you will notice the extra pieces in the corners, the black ended up being too short to make it to the orange so i added in the pink triangles. I like how it turned out.

My iron broke last week and I had to wait till yesterday to get a new one but California is done now. It's got some issues but I had so many problems with this block I am just going to be happy with. Colorado looks much easier :-)
