crochetetc - you blocks are sensational!! havent gotten th AOTH book yet - are these blocks from the book?? WOW - the scroll work - is it stem stitch by hand??  :-D  love it!
Oh you didn´t cause any offence I just didn´t want you thinking you were lagging in any way. I have to finish my DJ, down to quilting the last 30 odd blocks now sonearly there, then of course I have to do the border which I am still, yes stil, tossing around in my head. Lot like you Ducky, I always say its because I am a Pisces and swim in ever decreasing circles LOL.

Lesley, I am so glad you liked one the names I gave out and chose one.

Here are some ideas if anyone is stuck.
Batik Fusions
Melody of Hearts
Hearts and Flowers
Following my Heart

Run out I am afraid, anyone got any more ideas.

Don´t know yet what mine is going to be called still thinking, probably something with a Spanish flavour.

i read an idea that i am trying....first you make a list of all you have on the go now and then get it down to 10. once it is at 10 then you discipline yourself that you cannot add another UFO to the list until you take one off...that way your are always at 10.

I think one of the reasons it has been so good for me is that it stunned me how many UFOs I had and I felt guilty and wanted to get them down to a more reasonable number...PS the magic number could be "15" they just recommend 10.

Thank goodness, I don't have many UFO's, but I do have several that haven't been started at all (they don't qualify as a UFO, do they?) That is to say, I have the fabric and the pattern picked out, but not got around to beginning them yet.

Thank you..I should mention 90% of my fabric comes from fabric fanatics and they have the biggest selection ever.

I haven't decided if they will be 1 or 2 quilts. Originally I was going to put a small sashing around each block in the opposite colorway to bring them together but now leaning towards 2 quilts so I have one to hand down to my daughter.

Oh...what a great idea...to use the sashing Kristie. of course, I'm sure your DD thinks that doing the 2 quilts is also a great idea - LOL! Either way you end up going, they are going to be a beauty...I hadn't even thought about the gray and it looks great!

Received my book in the mail today. Now comes the fun part of looking for my fabric. Can't wait to get started!
