I want to do the BOM for 2011. Count me in!

How about a house but row by row. I have done a house BOM--the Strolling the Block one. In fact I have made a couple of them. But I have not made a row by row. Here are some links:

This is just a picture of a row by row. http://www.bomquilts.com/proddetail....od=04192007-11

The row quilts would be fine if we did our whole own quilt. I do not want someone else to do part of mine. It would not be mine. What if they added a color yo don't like or want? It would be great to do a sky row, a birdhouse row, some rows with town houses, some with regular homes, maybe a church row and a countyr row with barns etc. I could get real creative right and now.

I guess I misunderstood. I was thinking this is a block of the month. I was thinking it was our own blocks we were making, for ourselves, each person just doing the same block but for themselves. Is it also an exchange then?

Matilda,
I am sorry if I have caused any confusion. It is not an exchange, it is a BOM for ourselves to keep. Every block that is made is for that person to keep. Hope this clears up your question.

That is ok. I thought that that is what it was but when Donna wrote: "The row quilts would be fine if we did our whole own quilt. I do not want someone else to do part of mine. It would not be mine. What if they added a color yo don't like or want?"
I thought "well maybe it is something different".
But the rest of her note "It would be great to do a sky row, a birdhouse row, some rows with town houses, some with regular homes, maybe a church row and a countyr row with barns etc. I could get real creative right and now." I like that!
Anyway, thank you for clearing that up for me. I would like to do this next year. I think it would be great and am looking forward to do what ever is decided upon.
