If no decision has been made on what BOM we will be doing next year how about a star and a house one? I have not done a BOM with you all but I am excited about anything you decide to do.

When and where do we sign up for the BOM? I want to make it no matter what the final theme is. Never done one before and I like that we make our own for our own quilt. I like the houses and the stars or both - I am easy. (but not cheap - have to support my "habit" somehow :))

Just wanted to put 3 other ideas that were mentioned early in the thread back in the mix: blocks with state names (check out Quilters Cache; just about all if not all states have something there; would be great variety); desserts, and alphabets. Also this year's theme is flowers; someone will post a pattern link early in November; those wanting to jump in the 2010 BOM can do so then.

I'd also like to do houses. Can we see the pattern?

I'm new on board but this sounds like a great way to learn lots. I'll be looking for directions - it's almost 2011!!

How about just "Blooms" or "Blooming Petals"

I vote for all type of houses. Never done BOM and was thinking about houses or a town for a long time.
This board is fantastic!
