Thanks and I think the suggestion of the first block as an early Christmas is a good one. I am so excited to get started.
I have two rooms since my daughter and her sone moved out and I want to redo them. This quilt will be one I put in one of the rooms. Probably on my Mother's bed.

The journal is a quilt to represent your life in blocks and eventually a quilt. I think this would be a great project, but not a BOM because what one person would make wouldn't necessarily mean anything to someone else. By being a project, we could give each other suggestions on what block would be good to represent an event it their life.

Thanks Lauren for all the work you do!

AFter hearing the definition of journal quilt -
I vote for the stars or houses. I have never done a house so that would be new.

Please keep me posted.
