Okay, did you see my earlier post about muslin? Just in case you were using it because you are reproducing the real one...muslins were not used in the mid 1800's for quilts. They used cotton...whites and offwhites, but not muslin. Of course, you are welcome to use whatever you want..it's your quilt! And no doubt, will be fabulous with muslin. However, they did NOT use muslin back then!!
i saw that post about muslin not being the it fabric of the day.Originally Posted by Esqmommy

We live in the middle of the state and are surrounded by forests and orchards. Every kind of fruit. The Columbia River runs right through the middle of town. I like your ideas. I like 'Country Jane' or 'Columbia River Jane'. Pick one.

you set the size to 8x8 for the kites and it prints out correct for the tapered kite.

you guys are using the "print the patterns" button on the left side of the screen?
You need to use the little arrow tool, select the block you want to print, and then use the print button on the top menu, scrolling down to either "foundation" "templates" etc.
:-)
Thank you Blue, it was driving me crazy - with 1inch sashings, my triangles are coming out at 5.58in x 8in!Originally Posted by BlueChicken

my guess is the triangle has the fabric i sent you.
i'm so glad you're able to put the fabric to use.
Not been getting any emails on this topic and yes you are correct it was the triangle. Thanks Kelly. The only one I have decided I am not pleased with is the K9, so am doing it over. Am saving all the ones I am not happy with and will probably do a pillow.Originally Posted by kluedesigns

I have a question here. I read somewhere that before you print for paper piecing, you should check and print all blocks reversed. That way any block that needs to be reversed will be and it won't matter to those that don't have to be reversed.
Has anyone else heard or read of this? I am going to try it today, if it is not so I will only lose a couple pieces of paper. If it is so then I won't make the mistake I made on my triangle.
