Thanks for the nice words on the quilt top. I must say there is a lot of inspiration on this thread. I can only hope it turns out half as well as some I have seen here.

Ok, I've decided to join in on this great adventure! My block measured only 6" so I added ¼" border all around. Then I did the 4 patch all around. Now it measures 10.5". I don't want a 2" border at this point, so I'll wait till next round and decide where I'll go from there. Probably won't do all 6 rounds either, I'll see what it looks like as I go along. At least I'm ready before the next round is presented!

Marilynsue: Welcome. Your color choices are perfect. That little bit of orange zeroed your eyes into the center, then that purple flower brought your eyes to the border. Really nice!

Sometimes when I'm doing a quilt-a-long like this, I keep pictures of everybody's quilt so I can admire them easily without going through the thread.
