Rosy, I would love a PDF file of the Farmer's Wife Magazine, 1930. Hope the Hurricane does not come near you...they are not any fun at all. Had a few close calls in Texas and that was close enough for us. Oksewglad is still finishing her Pony Club quilt too...maybe you three could work together? I have to finish my borders for the PC. Do join us in the PC discussion group 'cause we have fun there, too....shhhhhhh shhhhh, but don't tell on us 'cause we do a bit of everything there.! LOL!

Here are two mags from this era. I uploaded to dropbox as it wouldn't do it here.

https://www.dropbox.com/home?preview...ners00farm.pdf

https://www.dropbox.com/home?preview...10_1932_10.pdf

it takes a while to upload then click on the blue link at the top and download or click the open tab at the top right and it will open in you computer....

Default Week 4 Augusta & Aunt

Lovely blocks so far ladies. I love seeing how they look with the different colors. This is so much fun. Still haven't had time to figure out my pictures and why I can't crop etc. So hope they aren't to big.

Great blocks, Katie! Now that you have Windows 10, does your picture show up with a black background? That was new for me when I loaded Windows 10. If it does, there's a little pencil at the top right of the black box. Click it and the edit tools appear, then click "crop".

I'll try that Katy. I just haven't had a lot of time to play with it. I'm heavily involved in a Quilt Show, which is taking up way more time than I had ever wanted it to. The only sewing I get done are these two blocks. And that's killing me. But I do need to get these pictures figured out, because I take a lot of pictures. And this was like going back 10 years and how many different Windows....not a happy camper.

Thanks for the pdfs, Rosy!
Katie, I like your blocks, so refreshing. I'm working on Augusta and have chose dark fabrics, wow, it looks so different. I just love seeing what others are using for the same pattern!
Katy, I have Windows 10, but no black on pictures. Maybe I upload mine differently-- I usually use the 'go advanced' button.

Givio, I use the "go advanced" button, too. It seems to upload pictures better there than here at the "quick reply" box. Katie and I were talking about when you first download from your camera and save your picture on your computer. And I can't wait to see your latest fabric choices!

Givio, did you have to register to download the file? I am new at using it.
