Terri, EQ is the acronym for Electric Quilt. It's a computer software program where you can make quilt blocks, and arrange them in settings, and color them, etc.

This pictures are all fun-- great to see what everyone is up to this week! I've decided on my fabric for Bea, but have to get busy cutting all those little triangles. :-)

Isn't it fun to make a quilt in EQ?
I love EQ because I can change a block in it. I am not that schooled in it tho. I can change, add, delete a line, so far so good. Next I will have to learn how to make an entire block. I have tried but something always goes wrong and I don't take the time to find out why lol.....well one day I will...but I do like the program a lot

Rhonda on the QB here has tutes for Electric Quilt

http://www.quiltingboard.com/tutoria...a-t195158.html

Enjoy...

I draw blocks and set quilts, but only use a limited amount of EQ's capabilities. I put together a couple of scrap quilts and was able to determine how much fabric I would need of the "constant" fabric so I could search my stash for something appropriate....

OK only 2 days late, although I have looked at the next block, Belle, and think it is going to be a challenge, can't figure out how to get it together, how to get pieces A/D and B/C to go together in the middle, guess just have to take it one step at a time.

TPR, hang on a bit, I am sure some of use will find a way around it. I am looking at it and think I can change a line here and there to make it easy.....ok I added a couple lines I will post it on Monday.

Rosy, wouldn't you just split the 2 corners where the center line on each side meets? that's what I would do if I couldn't or had a problem doing the set in..

After looking at the pping pattern, all 4 corners have to be split in order for it to sew together without the set in corners.

If you don't have EQ just cut the split corners off the foundation sections..tape them to the the sides of the big square where they belong then copy the patterns so you won't have the tape to sew or press on. you would probably have to pencil in the stitching line.. that's what I would do..

Yes Honchey, ok here it is split. I looked it up in BB and pulled it into EQ and drew the lines, so easy. Since it's Friday and the end of the week anyway, it wouldn't hurt to post it here?

Have you ever laughed at yourself even tho you should be cursing? lol. Well, earlier I decided to make my last block Bea for the week. I checked into BB and found a Bea with a pretty handle and decided to make that one. I was so excited to see the basket with the pretty handle that I didn't pay much attention as I was listening to one of my mystery stories on the kindle.

Well look at what I did, picture 1. I couldn't even see my pretty handle. I decided to just leave it and then I couldn't and ripped and fixed.
