I came across this board and everyone's blocks are stunning. My secret Santa gave me this book as a gift and love it, I have a few blocks made and have done Granny and Heather. I'll be watching.

Welcome, Buddy's Mom. I love your colors and your blocks. Maybe you can show us a vertical board pictures of back blocks if you have made them, 'cause I would love to see more of your work. Wonderful job.

Hurrah! Buddy'smom! If you would show us more of your blocks that would be fun. :-) Peach/orange 30's fabric isn't very common. Is your butterfly fabric a reproduction or original 30's print? Did you use 30's prints for all your blocks? How many have you done? I hope you join us and post blocks again next week with us when we post ours. The more the merrier!

I'm so glad you're joining us, Buddy's Mom. Great blocks! Where did you find that orange fabric with the butterflies? Love it!

Thanks ladies, I love the 30's fabric's. Yes the Butterfly's are 30's, one of my favorite's. I don't have many done as I just got the book for Christmas. I have Marcella, Starlight, Aunt, Nan, and Doris done so far. I'm working on Eva now.
Thanks again for the great welcome.

Yes these were purchased from a quilt shop and as 30's solids. The butterfly is a reproduction fabric. I only have about 7 complete, so I'm way behind.

Point of information: We are going by the ABC order of blocks...through the A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and into the H's now. We do not post what is not due, until he correct time that Honchey asks for them every Tuesday. You are welcome to join us on the PC discussion where occasional we post out of order to ask questions or help on a block. And on certain occasions we may be all the back ones on a vertical board and display them all together.

I do love every block that you have posted, and the fabric that you are using. So happy your 'secret Santa' gave you the book and that you are joining us. Welcome, again. Please ask any questions you want too and enjoy the journey.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. Wasn't sure how the blocks were being done. I love this book.

Beautiful blocks and fabric choices, Buddy's mom. And please join us. Every Tuesday Honchey posts the week's blocks in the Home Section under Blocks of the Month. You could post the ones you have done in that particular thread and just jump in with us now. The more blocks I see the more inspired I am by color choices. It also keeps me focused to continue this journey.
