Follow the thread of FWPQ and PQ on QB. Laura Aaron Hird has written the Farmers Wife's Sampler Quilt which we did as a group; now we are following her second book just released last fall: Farmers Wife's Pony Quilt. About the magazine published in 1912? to 1939 that gave children a pony, bridle, and saddle for selling $$$ worth of subscriptions to their magazine. She, I understand sells the book on her blog. Local Quilt Shops also sell it, as does Amazon & probably Connecting Threads.

It contains a CD with the patterns on it. We are all excited about the project, reading the stories about the children, and sharing the blocks each of us make. Honchey is our leader, but has computer problems this week, so OuiltE is leading us this week. You may sent a private message to them for more info or follow the thread on QB. More the merrier on this journey.

KyMawMaw ... QNSue has given you some good info. I've also responded with similar, and different in your other inquiry post. There's a link there to Laurie's site. As well as telling you how to find all the threads here on the Board.

Yes, kymawmaw please join us! All you need to do is buy the book as QNS mentioned above. You can join us at whatever week we are at, and play catch up with the previous blocks! We have such fun!
