I have a Cottonwood tree out front. Last year a dove nested in it & had 2 hatches. I would sit on the front porch & look through the branches ta look at her sitting on her nest, then saw those babies fly off. We kept water in the bird bath 'cause of the drought. The Cottonwood die not leaf out & is officially dead. (Casualty if the drought.) We were gittin' ready ta call someone ta cut it down when we noticed that she was back on her same nest. I can't git a picture 'cause she has her nest way up high. If I look hard enough I can see the baby.

Well despite the creative names QNS came up with, I like the OK Corral. Our farm name is Oak Knob, so kinda like that moniker.

To quote DublB ... OMYGosh!!
Too funny ... though it makes total sense for the moveability!

Just down the road from me is an organic farm with a "school bus" for his free range hen house ... the chickens have a ramp from the field into the back of the bus. Every once in awhile the bus is moved a few feet, along with the fencing. I often wonder, if they herd the flock into the bus, and lock it up each night for safety?
